Rosie’s is a stylishly converted horse lorry in its own private paddock set on a small farm on the edge of Bodmin Moor.
Designed for two, Rosie's is somewhere to slow down, enjoy the countryside and experience something a little different. Sit out on the deck and take in the far-reaching views across farmland to Sharp Tor, or sink into your own wood-fired hot tub as the evening draws in.

Rosie’s is run totally on solar power, giving you a genuine off-grid experience without giving up the important comforts.
There is lighting and there are sockets for charging your phones and devices.
Hot water is supplied by gas for the shower and sinks in the lorry.
Because the electricity supply is solar powered, we ask guests to use it thoughtfully. High powered electrical appliances such as hairdryers cannot be used.
Explore Bodmin Moor and Cornwall
Rosie’s is wonderfully peaceful, but you are still well placed for exploring Cornwall.
Bodmin Moor is close by, with fantastic walking, dramatic scenery and Cornwall’s historic mining landscape. Visit Minions, The Hurlers, The Cheesewring and Golitha Falls, or simply head out and enjoy the open moor.
For a day by the sea, Looe, Polperro and the beaches of Cornwall’s south coast are within easy reach. The Eden Project or The Lost Gardens of Heligan also make great days out.
Or stay at Fanolas Farm, enjoy the views and do very little at all.

About host
We live here in this very quiet corner of Cornwall on our 15 acre farm. We have a small flock of Herdwick sheep, a few goats, a retired horse, chickens, geese, ducks and quail. As well as our dogs and cat.
We have three lodges available for holiday stays. One has a wood-fired hot tub and two are dog-friendly. We also have an off-grid converted horse lorry with a wood-fired hot tub for glamping during the summer months.
